Boosting Game Revenue and Organic Growth with Plunge Games

The Objective:

Ruby Seven Studios is a top-ranking social casino platform bridging the gap between land-based casinos, online casinos and social casino gaming apps. With over 20 games across mobile and web, Ruby Seven was looking to increase discoverability of some of their newly launched web titles while also improving in-game metrics for their top mobile titles. The team sought out Plunge Games given their range of expertise spanning organic growth, product operations, and monetization strategy.

The Solution:

To improve game discoverability, Ruby Seven enlisted Plunge’s SEO services for one of their newly established web apps, Choctaw Slots. Following a comprehensive audit, the Plunge team proposed a website redesign to improve overall UI/UX and Google’s crawlability of the Choctaw Slots site. Plunge then worked with Ruby Seven to implement these changes which included creating individual game pages, removing automated game-play, and adding high search-volume keywords to drive organic growth. 

To boost in-game metrics, Ruby Seven also worked with Plunge’s CRM experts on their mobile title, FoxPlay Casino. The Plunge team performed an in-depth assessment of the game across all customer communications, event strategy, VIP programs, and more. Plunge identified the game’s current welcome offer as one of the biggest areas of opportunity – recommending that FoxPlay migrate their current, Seven-Day reward pack to a larger, Single-Day reward pack to improve revenue and retention. The existing welcome offer and the new, Single-Day offer were measured via an A/B test.

The Results:

Within 90 days of implementing Plunge’s SEO and CRM recommendations, Ruby Seven observed: 

For Choctaw Slots:

> A 310% increase in organic Website Visits
> A #4 position in organic Google Search results 

For FoxPlay Casino:

> A 60% increase in D0 Purchasing Users with the Single-Day welcome offer
> A 33% increase in Revenue with the Single-Day welcome offer
> More than double the amount of Game Transactions with the Single-Day welcome offer

Next Steps:

Given the overwhelming success of both initiatives, Ruby Seven continues to partner with Plunge Games to expand their SEO efforts – both within Choctaw Slots and across other web apps. Ruby Seven also transitioned their welcome offer to the Singe-Day reward pack suggested by the Plunge team for FoxPlay Casino, and is extending the test to other game titles currently.
